A sidebar in the Orlando Sentinel reads, in part, "Candidates in the upcoming special election for County
Commission and State Representative will have a chance to discuss the issues at 5:30 p.m. April 12."
"As the only elected official who speaks Spanish, City Commissioner Carlos Irizarry said he is working to set up a meeting."
Comment: Just a guess, but John Quinones, Armando Ramirez, Darren Soto, and Anthony Suarez probably don't need Spanish-language assistance. Does this mean that Commissioner Irizarry is trying to "level the playing field" on behalf of Mark Cross, Joe Ed Day, Ken Smith, or Frank DeNike?
Hmm...
