What did we learn this week on Kid Nation?
- The game organizers feel that the town must have 4 different districts, each with its own member on the Town Council, to be successful.
- The town members respect the actions of the individual, not the title. Thus, those who had a title conferred upon them do not immediately gain respect, and those who put forth effort for the common good become impromptu leaders without titles.
- Individual teams only work for the common good when there is a common benefit.
- Infastructure (Port-A-Potties) is more important than idle entertainment venues (television set or a fountain in our case).

The City of Kissimmee should look and learn. Speaking of FOUNTAINS..... As you all have heard UCF Arena had a shortage of water bottles during last weeks game. Over a dozen people had dehydrated and sent to the hospital due to the lack of water fountains in the arena.
I propose we send Mrs. Jeanne Van Shipley there to help them with there fountain problem. She is excellent in FOUNTAIN BUILDING!
She would make a better Fountain adviser than a Commissioner!!
I had enough of these elected officials. TIME FOR NEW BLOOD, NEW IDEAS AND NECESSARY CHANGES.
Maybe instead of sports commissioner, we could establish an new position called Fountain Commissioner or Birthday Commisisoner and put her in one of those spots. This would open up a seat for someone who is at least competent in government.
