In the other post a commentor talked about UFO's and how people make stuff up... well, I find it very telling that the cow in the logo is the big topic of disscusison for the city commissioners right now. Who is making stuff up?

VERY GOOD. YOU ARE CORRECT, GRIEB IS LOOKING AFTER HER POCKETBOOK AND NOT WHAT THE CITIZENS WANT. BOB MAKINSON HAD THE CITY FLAG DEVELOPED AND THE COW SHOULD STAY. ADD SOMETHING IF YOU WANT, BUT WE ARE PROUD OF OUR "COWTOWN">

Well according to Bill Lane's article a couple weeks ago on "What is economic developement", it is all about making your developer friends happy. If you look at all the local governments right now, everything they are working on is to help developers, or other governments. At least now we know the cows are watching us... lol...

Keep condos off of our lakefront or the cow gets it...

So is the mayor board, or stoned??? I guess we have to ask that question every week, so it might as well be in a puppet video.

Any word on the Kissimmee Lakefront issues? I was at the rally they had down their the last time we had to make them listen to us and I am ready to go down their again. I think the plan that they came up with while working with the people is just beautiful, and I hope they don't mess it up again.

I just can't believe that the cow in the logo is the biggest decision facing this city? We are actually going to spend staff time (which means tax money) on figuring out if we should change our logo? Look at 192 and you tell me with a straight face that a new logo is going to help! I know during the last campaign everyone said that rebuilding 192 was their big priority, and where is it? Wish there was some kind of 'do over' with that last election. I think we voted for the wrong people.

Where's Payne Evans and Adam Moore? I figured they would be doing some ripping today.

Great episode here... Love the glowing cow!

Keep the Cow! Ditch the Commission!

I guess we will see if a new logo design or a new fountain can be used to pay the electric bills of the 205 people who just got let go at the Lowes warehouse.

If the city were really focused on building a better economic base in the city then I would say that changing the logo might be part of the process. This would only be true if you could determine the logo (or the cow) was really creating a negative impact on how we as an economic community are viewed in the marketplace.

Talking cow heads??? That explains why the meetings have been so weird. They have floating talking cow heads giving them pointers on what to do up there.

Has anyone actually gone to City Hall and asked about this condo rumor. Well I did. First of all, the park is under the control of the City not the CRA. Second of all, a detailed plan of the park is being developed using th concept plan created by the people and approved by the commission. I was at the three meetings the City held and all talk about condo in the park were squashed. The only condos will be at the old Hansel plant and that will take a long time to happen.

Get your facts straight people. Maybe we should put a sheepeople on the in the logo. You know what a sheepeople is don't you. They follow the crowd mindlessly, without questioning what they are being told or fed.

But then again, cows are pretty darn stupid animals, thats why they are food.

I would not call the residents of this community stupid or sheep. Most of the great people of our community do not have time to follow politics or what is going on at our Lakefront because of the exhaustive work schedules the keep to take care of their families. I do not think this is something that should be mocked.

I am glad to see you went to City Hall to dispel any possible rumors. Your assertions about the seperation of the CRA and the City are correct. That seems to be where the problem lies. I do not blame any member of the community for being nervous about this project. We have all been here before. The residents know they have to be vigilant to assure that their interests are protected. They were caught unaware the last time and almost lost their childrens park. I am happy to see they are paying attention, and are concerend about the project.
