In lieu of this, we have come up with some alternate slogans for consideration:
- Close but no cigar
- Couldn’t quite cut it
- Always a bridesmaid
- Maybe next year
- And the runner up is
- Your kung-fu is good
- Central Florida: It’s more than Orange and Polk County
- Sorry for wasting your tax dollars
In these times of budget reductions, we think the smart money is on not redesigning things that don’t need to be redesigned. We question the added marketing value of saying that we came close. And will we discard and reprint items next year if we enter the competition again and win?

Since one of the groups that beat us was a "Home Owners Association" do we think that now is the time to stop wasting tax money on this junk. It is supposed to be All-America City and yet we have HOA's and Counties in the mix. Maybe next time to save on some tax money we can send the puppets to compete. Oh wait, we did.
"Your kung-fu is good" --> what does that mean? Time to move on, plenty of other issues to talk about.
I guess we are kinda-sorta pretty good.
Kinda-Sorta All American.
Why don't we change our logo to a buckeye.
Considering these are already trying to commit spending more money on trying for this "Award" again, I would say it is not time to move on or talk about something else. These folks want to whine and cry about their general fund while spending money to go party and this is not something we are supposed to talk about. That is just crazy.
I like the new logo that you have done for the city. It looks great. The new cow looks nicer than the old one. I say we just stick with this new one.
Your kung-fu.....Is this a reference to the spin off show from the X Files?
