ok. You got it right that the mayor only cares for short meetings. And you got it right that if the consent agenda is not studied, it gets passed easily. Another example of "staff recommends". Durbin can put stuff on the consent agenda knowing it is rarely challenged.
These folks would not sell off their own stuff. They want to find a way to make us sell our stuff. Raise the fees, raises the taxes, and provide less and less as time goes on. Pretty soon you will hear, we are not in the business of people, we are in the business of government.
If I saw politicians that were really ready to go to this extreme to make sure the residents were protected, or at least ened up with a decent tax bill, I would vote for them instantly. The problem is, they don't call people who take these kinds of measures politicians, the call them leaders. And, in this area, we only would take these measures if our developer buddies (contributors) told us to.

I like the way Appliance Direct sounds much better than I like the Amway Arena. It could be worse.
If you vote for light rail, you paid to much!

No coffee, no snacks... Maybe if that were the case they could pay attention to what was going on during the meetings.
I am not sure what is more funny, the school board - caveman slide, or the actual video.
Great Work WayneWho... Maybe we will get government working for us again.
I want the slide of the caveman for my next T-shirt! Awesome!
