That has been my feeling all along. Who wants to go up to Orlando to get shot anyway. How many murders? How much crime? Move the workers to Orlando and the criminals to Kissimmee. Real smart move there!
It would be nice if for once we did get straight talk from our government and other community leaders. We don't. It is all self serving half truths that we have to pay for later on down the road. I don't think this argument is over light rail or a tax. I think this is an argument over whether or not we trust what we are being told. It is becoming obvious that many people don't trust what they are being told anymore.
I had to go home for lunch to see your latest update because Brighthouse internet is down all over the area. I find it very strange that the day of a big vote and the one of the larger internet providers goes down. I do not know about the people on a KUA connection, but I someone should find out if they were down to.
That is great!! You need to make this one a regulary video. There has to be enough news to do this every week. A does of Straight Talk every week would be great.
I think your polls are probably closer to reality than any I have seen. Maybe it is just the circle of friends thing, but the people that I work with could never use this train. I guess those chamber business people will.

Word(s) - Site Consultant (a glorified realtor who we fly in then wine and dine with tax dollars in hopes that they will keep us on their short list for when they have a client.)
Memento mori: A Latin phrase that roughly translates into "Remember you will die," which can be used to cut the boastful down to size or place one's own life into elegant perspective.

Quote - "We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle." -- Winston Churchill
Quote - "The superior man blames himself. The inferior man blames others." --- Don Shula, former Miami Dolphins coach
Quote - "People can be divided into two classes: those who go ahead and do something, and those who sit still and inquire, why wasn¹t it done the other way?" --- Oliver Wendell Holmes

Quote - If we get a government that reflects more of what this country is really about, we can turn the century - and the economy - around. --- Bella Abzug
Word(s) - Beneficially Negative - this was a term placed in one of the comments. We loved it! While there is no linkable definition for this, we all know what it means!
Quote - "The citizen can bring our political and governmental institutions back to life, make them responsive and accountable, and keep them honest. No one else can." --- John Gardner
Quote - "The government is merely a servant -- merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them." --- Mark Twain
Quote - I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents... --- James Madison

Great video. Can I get Payne's autograph?
Stirr-Up Poll? Is that opposed to the Gallup Poll? That is too funny. I love the puppets!!!!

Did you guys see that the county has an entire website devoted to light rail? I guess they already passed this thing and we didn't know it.

So they passed it with out figuring out where the funding is going to come from. Don't they whine when the state does this?
